ELITE EXPERTISE. WHEN IT MATTERS MOST.

I work with individuals and families with important needs, professionals carrying significant responsibility, and those who have tried therapy or coaching without success. My practice draws on more than 20 years of experience. I bring an unusual gift for seeing what's really going on beneath the surface, and I use that insight to help you make real progress.

Credentials:
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with triple board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), a distinction held by only about 25 practicing psychologists nationally. I'm credentialed to provide telehealth in 44 states, so location is rarely a barrier to working together. I also hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and SHRM-CP certification, an operational and regulatory lens I bring to the work when needed.

Experience:
I am the psychologist that other clinicians come to with their hardest, most complex cases. That has shaped how I practice and has given me an unusual level of depth and breadth of insight. My background includes senior leadership roles overseeing behavioral health at national scale, including full clinical and operational responsibility for a virtual care platform serving tens of millions of members nationwide, and prior service as Chief Clinical Officer for one of the nation's largest professional associations. I bring the same discretion and results-orientation expected in the executive suite, along with compassion, a good sense of humor, and the highest level of emotional intelligence.

Approach:
My extensive training in emotion-focused therapy (EFT) is grounded in a training lineage directly back to Dr. Carl Rogers. I also have significant experience with relational and experiential methods, and I hold board certification in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I draw on this broad clinical foundation and am also the developer of Adaptive Pattern Therapy (APT), an emerging model for understanding why longstanding psychological patterns persist and how durable change becomes possible.

I grew up in small-town Ohio. My father was a psychologist and a minister. I've been married for 26 years, and my wife and I adopted five children who are now in high school and college. I am a person of faith, science, and integrity.

I will give you my full effort, every time, until we get where you're trying to go.
